Abstract   DNCB test, percentage of T cell and quantitation of serum Immunogiobulin have been performed in 48 cases of histologically proven-adenocarcinoma of the stomach in preoperative and postoperative states. 1. DNCB test was well correlated to histologically proven stage of cancer (P<0. 001, and marked increase in positive response rate after radical surgery,(56% preop, 77% postop. 2. The percentage of T lymphocyte was', well correlated to the pathologic stage (but statistically not significant). 3. Higher IgA and lower IgG level were identified(P<0. 0005), but no significant change of Immunaglobulin was observed between preoperative and postoperative state. 4.These result indicated that DNCB test is more sensitive, rnore useful monitoring parameter to measure the progress of stomach cancer and at prwcent Immunog- lobulin quantitation test has a role merely as a baseline guide for the immuno- theraov for the future.
